Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

My school, as compared to others, is very small and tight knit. It can be rather difficult to find your place to fit in and there are definently on-campus cliques. If you can find your place then you're good to go.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If at all possible, complete gen-eds early and inexpensively by attending a community college. Apply for as much financial aid as possible. Consider what it is that you're really desiring to do and choose the best possible school for that career path.

What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

I know that every school has its difficulties but I wish I had known the lack of consideration given to the gen-ed, core required classes. They are taught with little to no consideration for actual learning. I could have saved alot of money by just completing these at a 2 yr. college before hand.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The athletic facility is by far the most pitiful thing i've ever seen. They gym is smaller than some elementary school gyms.

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

its too small and there isn't anyting fun to do here on campus. They make going to chapel service madatory for everyone and they will punish you if you don't go. ALso the cafeteria food isn't very good.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Parents: listen to your children, try not to decide for them. Students: Be honest with yourself when choosing a school, don't go with the flow (where everyone else is going) go where you are led. Impact your school, don't let the school impact you.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Finding the right school for a student involves several factors. A student should find a school that appeals to his needs. This may include extracurricular activities, sports, academics, religious preferences, assistance for disabilities, and school size. A student should also pick a school based on how much financial aid he recieves. The main goal when it comes to financial aid, is to graduate with as little dept as possible.

What's unique about your campus?

The overall environment of the student body and the academics because it makes it my kind of school.

What kind of person should not attend this school?

Someone who likes a small school atomosphere, likes a school that is primarily sports based, and that is loosly christian based in the student body.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Tour the campus and take notice of not just the students and the teachers but how they interact with others and the environment. Look for the small things that will make the biggest differences; for instance how well people know each other, saying hello, or smiling as they walk by. View the facilities: classrooms, dorms, cafeteria, gym, library, etc. Watch the campus life before you. Make a check list and then pray about it. If your not religious then weigh your options. Notice the overall effect of the campus, and everything within.

What kind of person should attend this school?

A student who is interested in seeing God grow their faith and expand in the Christian environment, granted not everyone who come to MoBap is a Christian but the news about Jesus is evident. Also student who academically responsible and enjoys a effective student environment. The staff wants to see the student succeed in all areas of life as well as older and former students. One who is interested in sports and seeking a great athletic program should look towards Mobap as well.

What kind of person should not attend this school?

Any type of person that is looking for a party school
