Cresson, PA is a small little town packed with things to do. One thing you can see are those big golden arches! What would a college be without a McDonald's within walking distance? :-) Cresson also has a Sheetz, lots of good pizza places, convenience and grocery stores, gas stations, and lots of places to live. Its a nice little town!

Mount Aloysius sits on top of the Allegheny Mountains in Cresson, PA - just a drive up the mountain from Altoona. Spectators can see beautiful rolling hills and mountains in the distance, energy efficient windmills, and trees changing colors as if painted by hand (in the fall.) It's a welcoming and relaxing spectacle that you just have to see for yourself!

If you go down the "mountain" you will see the little town of Cresson, with its Dollar General, Sheetz, McDonalds, Rite Aid, and a few other little stores. Mount Aloysius is set on a hill basically in the middle of nowhere. If you continue up the mountain, there are a few other little stores, but mainly houses.

Head out of the college and go left, you'll enter a more rural small town. Go right and you head past several small stores, fast food places, a local restraunt, and head toward the highway, which can take you to major city in about 10-15 mins.
