What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

The most frustrating thing about my school is the grading system, or lack thereof. We do not use the traditional grading system, instead you either pass or fail and nobody has a GPA. It can be frustrating at times when you put forth a lot more effort than others, yet they pass as well, and there is no definite way to show that you were a better student. This is somewhat reconciled by evaluations, which are personal assessments professors give each student about their performance. There they may comment on your outstanding performance.

New College definitely attracts a particular crowd, which can alienate many others who have different wasy of being.

We don't know what classes we are in until the day the classes begin and sometimes a week after they start.
