Sandy

As a high school senior, I had no idea what I wanted to do after graduation. I went to a commumity college fora a while and worked where my training came into being. I would tell myself to look for a college that really cares about your success in a good education and to help you suceed in the goal of becoming what you want to do for the rest of your life.

I have attended college off and on since I graduated high school in 1996. I have chosen the profession of Health Information Management due to the past history of having cancer and living a second life in a hospital. I love the feeling of being able to help someone even if it is only to share a simple smile and say hello. I have been blessed to take courses toward my degree while working in temporary positions and treat my medical conditions. Whether attending physically or virutally, I am able to study and learn with professionals who currently work in the field that I see myself within a few years. I have also learned self respect and respect for others who have difficulties or problems with certain subjects or topics. I am proud of the accomplishments I have made and hope I can continue to learn with every new challenge. I had a professor tell me that "no matter what happens in life, no one can ever take away your education."

If i could go back to my senior year and talk to myself I would say "Don't wait to go to college. The sooner you get it done the sooner your life will be better. You can do so much more with your life so why wait to start living go to school and learn".

Jacqueline

I would tell myself that I should not wait that year after I graduate and to go ahead and go to school. I would also go ahead and tell myself that I should go ahead and go to Rasmussen and dont look at any other school.
