I think Reedley College is an amazing community college to attend. The professors here are amazing, not to mention the classes here are excellent. There are so many opportunities to be found here and great connections to make.
The school mainly cares for students who are majoring in the Dental and Nursing program and those who are transferring to Fresno State. There is not much degrees or certificates for the film or art majors. The campus is easy to get around from classroom to classroom, but some counselors just give students their SEP without giving them the exact details and explanations as to why the students should take a certain class or classes.
Not your typical community college. Small campus with an agricultural farm for the students located in the back. This is a perfect community college for anyone who is focused only on graduating. The teachers are always available for office hours, tutoring is offered for almost every course. Staff is beyond helpful, and kind.
I attended Reedley College after I graduated from high school, and it was a very good decision. The professors at Reedley College are very engaged with their students and are constantly open to any questions that they may have. While at Reedley College I also worked as an English Tutor so I have first-hand knowledge that these professors care deeply for the people who enter their classrooms.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Reedley College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CAR OR RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION! I say that in all caps and end it with an exclamation mark because it is very important that you have a way to get to school. After I graduated high school, my mother bought me a car but I got in a wreck and totaled my car so I had to take a semester off of school until I got another car. Once I got my other car bad luck got attactched to me and I got in another wreck and had to be finding a ride to school. It's not fun, constantly having to bug your friends for rides. Also make sure you understand that you are not in high school anymore, college is not a game it is meant to be taken very seriously to allow us to further our education and become successful in life. Learn how to save your money for expenses that financial aid may not cover, or textbooks that may cost more than what you get a semester. Finally, just learn to take college seriously, it is not a joke. Some of us actually want to learn and get somewhere in life.
The one thing that makes my school unique is its size. It is a small school, but very intimate. This is very beneficial academically because if one of us needs help in a certain subject or have a particular question about a Professor we can feel comfortable to simply ask any student due to the fact we may already know the person and that student may already have taken the class and can give advice on how to pass the class.
When I brag about my school to my friends I'm usually being sarcastic. There's not much to be proud of at Reedley College. The only thing that I might brag about is the honors program that I am in at RC.
The studentsare from all races and ethnicities
The worst thing that I consider about my school is the fact that theres not many classes offered. Since its a small community college there is only some classes that are vailable to your major and are having to go to another college to check if they offer the class you need.
It has alot of classes available and financial aid. the teachers are great and so are the students.
It seems like its High School all over again, people still bullying others and doing childish things to one another. It frustrates me since college is a place where we tend to find who we will become, learn and succeed in life.
Students who really are focused on their education should attend any of the Reedley Colleges. I see so many students just "hanging around" with their friends, messing around and doing other uneducated things and it really upsets me because they are the ones that fill up the courses and when someone who really needs to be in that certain course and really wants to further in their education cannot get in the course because it is too full.
I realy wish that I would have known more about various scholarship opportunities before I decided to attend a community college. If I had been aware of all the money that was out there I would probably have chosen to go to a 4 year University right out of high school instead.
Be ready to work hard, and understand that no one is going to push. This is not high school you are in college because you want to be here. Councelors will sit with you, talk about your schedule, and do a student educational plan. Time is going by no matter what so why waste time doing something that you do not love when you can be using that time to do what you really enjoy. All the hard work and dedication will pay off at the end. You work hard, and later you will play hard.
Gym night and birthday social.
It is great school.
I believe the best thing about my school is how convient it is for alot of students how are just experiencing the college life. Many of the students here have just finished highschool and want a good reliable school that will help them follow their goals in life. The classes here are really great and fairly easy to get in to . When I first started here i was super excited because I know this school would help me with my future.
They don't have a good times.
I'm not against anybody to attend the same school as me it depends on them if they really want to better their life and learn more.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
