In my opinion, Richland Community College is a really nice campus. The first thing that I loved about it was the fact that it has it's own pond with water fountains and bridges to walk across! The pond is full of turtles and geese! Obviously, I am an animal and nature lover! I have also been quite impressed with my professors at Richland Campus. My history professor was an amazing woman and really opened my eyes to how fascinating History really is! If you or someone you know is interested in Theatre or a Theatre Major, I highly recommend this campus! The professors are phenomenal, work with you outside of class, push you to gain as much experience as possible, and are overall just very caring of their students education! This is definitely an amazing campus and I hope you look into checking it out!
Richland College offers a great environment for first-time college students. It opens your eyes to how it is to be a college student on campus. I think this college offered me a lot of valuable information that will help me transfer to a 4-year university. It showed me the way classes work. The clubs at Richland College were amazing and I met friendly people. It was a diverse college that represented many cultures during special events. I enjoyed attending!
Richland College has been such a good experience for me so far even if it is just a 2 year institution. It is very safe environment where ever you choose to study or just hang out with friends. Everyone is there to just study that is the main focus and the Professors are so good and easy to reach almost all of the time. They will answer an email in a day or two and they also always have office hours or will set up a meeting with you.
For a Community College, Richland has nearly everything that you may or will need in the future. That is not all, apparently even if your major is not compatible with Richland College you can still go to any of the other community colleges in the Dallas County Community College District.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Richland College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
If I could go back in time, I would not rush into a career and finish my 4 year degree. I would take advantage of my opportunities as a student and enjoy life in my thirties other than return to finish what should have been done by the age of 21.
Richland College has provided a very pleasant school experience so far. Being a community college and having an Associate's Degree Program, it provides the availability for any kind of student of any age or ethnicity. The teachers are very helpful, understanding, and truly want you to succeed in your career goals. It has helped me transition greatly and I highly recommend it to any future college student who does not want to go straight to a university.
I wish that I knew how to manage my time more effectively. College work is a lot more demanding than high school work, and if I had better time management skills, I believe my grades would be better than they currently are now.
Richland is very diverse but honestly I don't know any of my classmates.
Richland is best known for being a community college. It is very popular among people within the Dallas area. There are many classes offered and not one area of syudy is prominent over the others. It is a great way to get two years of schooling at a low cost.
I like the ability to take classes online. This enables me as a single mom to not only work, spend time with my children, and manage my own schedule.
In going to this college a person must be looking to achieve getting their associates degree at low tuition pricing. An adequate student for Richland College must have the motivation to complete all of their basic required courses before transferring to a university to get a bachelors degree and major. This school is full of a diverse collection of people at different intelligence levels so being a community college it is very accepting of everyone that applies.
The kind of person that should not attend this school is not a valid question for community colleges. These colleges are designed to give aid to anybody who needs, whether it be finacial or purely academic, this college is made for people to be successful and will help you to make it. If I were to pick a person not to come here, it would be someone who already is in good academic standing and has all the money they need and allow for the people that need that help there get it.
The school i go to has an average campus. You can easily get around. The classes are small and you can learn well.
The worst thing about my school would have to be that there are not many healthy food options available on campus.
I brag about how wonderful the teachers are. Every teacher that I've had so far has seemed genuinely committed to helping their students to achieve their dreams. The schedules are also very flexible and work well with my work schedule.
