In my opinion, the worst thing about St. Cloud State University is that often most of the classes are very difficult and fast moving and yet many of the classes are only two credit classes, when it feels as if the effort I have to put forth to receive a good grade definitely surpasses the amount of effort that one would expect to exert for a two credit class. Having the classes only be two credits then forces me to take more classes to meet the full-time student minimum requirement and then I often feel overwhelmed throughout the semester.

I believe the worst thing about my school is the reputation it managed to attain. Everyone thinks Saint Cloud State is a party school for people to just come and have a good time and not really have to focus on school. I have learned so much about hardwork, beneficence, and responsibility that I may not have learned at any other school. The bad reputation of my school sometimes gives the students who attend the same reputation. Once you attend Saint Cloud State you will learn that this is not true.

The food is by far the worst thing. It may seem that I am being a bit ignorant but the food is awful. It is hard to eat at the best times, generally tasteless and greasy, to the point that you do not want to eat which can hamper your academic performance. I find

What I consider the worst thing about my school is the common food area or cafeteria. The food there is pretty much the same except for a few changes here and there. You never actually know how the food is going to taste when you walk in. Although the food might look fresh, sometimes it doesn't taste that way. For example, one time I went for Breakfast and got eggs with a side of what looked like dunkable french toast. When I bite into the look-a-like french toast, it tasted like a funnel cake from the fair.

I think that the university needs to provide more options in terms of professors. There are some courses where there is only one professor teaching and because of this, students cannot change their professors when they decide that the class or professor is not their best choice.

it is very hard for minority students to find a job when they graduate with in this city because this city is too conservative.

The street parking.

The way that the streets are set up around it. The campus should be all inclosed with parking around it, not streets going stright through it.

I do not view St. Cloud State University as having a "worst" trait about it, but I do wish that the class sizes of each course were not so overwhelmingly large that it makes it difficult for the student to stay connected and ask questions. I feel that a small portion of students actually raise their hands in class and get the information they need to progress smoothly in the course.

The weather (winter) can be terrible and the campus is quite large with many seperate buildings. The parking availability is also awful and expensive, if you do not have a permit you cannot park on campus at all.

diversity, and racism.

Sometimes I feel like academics are not a strong focus of this school, but it really depends on a person's initiative. Some professors are more willing to help and care about students than others. In my experience, unless it's business or engineering, if you want to have a quality education you have to express the desire and actively seek people that will help you.

Saint Cloud State University is overall a great school however some of the challenges I had to deal with was there weren't enough sections and course offerings for certain classes that I needed to take. I work during the day therefore I needed evening courses and I was very limited to the choices that I had.

The worst thing about SCSU is how quiet it gets in the winter, its just to cold out and people want to stay inside, in the summer its great becuase 24/7 people are outside having fun.

The advising. As a freshmen I recieved little and poor advice on what classes to take and how to prepare for graduate school.

The worst thing about my school is location. The winters are harsh and MN is just not a place to come if you are looking for warm weather. During the summers it is nice, but during the school year it is just wet, rainy, and cold. This is not the school's fault however, so not really a bad thing I guess.

The worst thing about Saint Cloud State University would have to be the cold, long winters. It sounds silly, but when you have to walk to class (like today) in negative fifteen degree weather when it is snowing and wind gusts up to forty miles an hour, it gets old pretty quick.

Public speaking, is the worst thing about college. I am not good at public speaking so having to deliver speeches scares me.

The difference of work load between classes that are supposed to be the same level.

the worst thing about my school is the food. first of, it is too expensive, and secondly, it do not taste all that good.

many people think my school is ALL about drinking but its not, for some people it is but not eveyone many of my friends and myself included do not drink a lot or at all so it is possible to not.

The general classes are not very personal. It's hard to get to know pwoplE AND PROFESSORS in a lecture hall.

The people are very closed minded.

There is too much alcohol involved activities. That is all that some of the students care about.

The campus securiety could be tighter.

Some of the classes are really big and it is harder for the teachers to have one on one with the students

Parking!!

That I got hurt during hockey season and was unable yto play anymore.

The winters are cold and the buildings are not connected.

We have had some racial issues (drawings of swastikas) as well as some violence in the campus area most likely by a local gang. The school has done well with this though.

Parking is kind of a pain, and if you do park somewhere your not supposed to for even 10 seconds public safety tickets you.
