Saint Cloud State University Top Questions

I would consider the best thing about my school to be is the Mass Communication program. I am not officially admitted into my major yet because I'm a Freshman, however I already feel like I am. Everything is so hands on, the professors and advisors are very helpful and there are so many wonderful opportunites I can particiapte in.

The best thing about my school is all the activities you can think of. No one is ever singled out. If you can think of any activity or club that is not on campus you can make one up and start it yourself. We have an event called Main Street for all the student to see he activates and sports available. I was amazed at all my options rugby, weather chasers, language clubs, and volunteer clubs.

The best thing about St. Cloud State University is all of the options that are available here. I chose to go here because I liked the fact that they have a lot of available majors and minors. This made me feel like if I did not like the major i initially chose I could easily find another one I might be interested in.

Coming from a smaller town I didn't have much worldly experience. Attending St. Cloud University I met so many people from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. It has openned me up as a person and has allowed me multiple traveling opportunities as well.

It was the least expensive to attend. Being I am paying for my school myself this was very important. Especially because I don't qualify for financial aid

The best thing about my school is the diversity and the resources available for all the students.

I would say the "best" thing about this school is the internet. Pretty much no matter where you go, you will have internet access (as long as you have a computer). Oh and a rather large library (a good place to get work done)

I consider the friendliness and willingness to help from the professors, along with their enthusiasm and want to be at the school

The best thing about the school i attend is the closeness of the student community. The size of the campus, not to small nor to big. The complexity of the classroom varies from lower division classes to upper division classes. School spirit is strong especially for our Men's hockey team. Post-college career services are excellent and offer numerous job fairs for the student body.

The people. The people here are great, everyone is outgoing and fun. They have a LOT of clubs so that you can find people who have the same interests as you. That is one of the nice things about it being a medium large school. They have about 250 clubs!

The wide range of majors because some of the programs offered here are not offered in many other schools in Minnesota.

I think the best thing about my school is how much experience, especially leadership experience and involvement, is offered outside of the classroom. If I had only attended this University for the classes, I would have missed out on so many opprunities to grow into the successful, life-long student that I am today.

I absolutely love our nursing program. It is one of the best in the state, and I am getting a great education because of it. I also love the size of the campus- everything is within a 10 minute walk.

I think this schools has lots of ideas on how to be great, but maybe falls shrt on applying those ideas. It is pretty diverse, and has some interesting prospective student fairs that some may enjoy.

The fun and exciting atmosphere

I think the diversity of St. Cloud is probably the best thing about it. There are so many different cultures and ethnicities here. Everyone is so friendly, and if you have a question about their culture, they will gladly tell you about it. There is also a wide variety of different teachers from different cultures. Having that diversity makes learning much more interesting because you are discovering different things about these people. It keeps you on your toes in the classroom.

St. Cloud State University has a variety of programs for first year programs that allow them to get involved both socially and academically. It has a variety of majors and opportunities to study abroad and intern. There are many different clubs for almost every interest. Professors are intelligent, but friendly and easy to be around. The students are friendly when you make an effort to talk to them.
