St. John’s College-Annapolis Top Questions

Describe the students at your school.

John

My classmates are generally enthusiastic, bright, well-read, motivated, and willing to have intelligent conversations on a regular basis.

Christopher

St. John's students are an extremely varied bunch ideologically. In most instances this amount of variation would cause conflict, but generally students here are very interested in the views and origins of others, making for a very open and accepting atmosphere. They are also defined by the stage of their education at the college. Since we all take the same classes, we all have common ground, but that same fact creates a divide between under- and upperclassmen who differ on the accepted level of academic snobbery displayed by nearly every student.

Daniel

These people are highly intellectual, but at times somewhat arrogant.
