When I visited I felt at home, and very welcome.
Stillman is a tight-knit community filled with support and love. The cafeteria food and on-campus housing have room for many improvements. There is no co-ed housing, and only a few people eat in the cafeteria everyday. Classes are small and personal, the professors are always available for their students. The work load is light compared to other colleges, but the material learned is beyond comparison. Stillman College, like any other college, could use some improvement. However, overall, I love my school.
Stilllman is a great college. The location is great and has multiple options of stores and restaurants in walking distance. There are a lot of fun activities you can get involved in on campus. The band is amazing and very welcoming. Also homecoming is very exciting on campus.
Really like the campus and enjoy the campus life. There is always an event to attend at least three times a week and usually on weekends. The food is amazing ; vegetables, guilty pleasure foods , have all you want cause the cafeteria is actually a buffet. We have included students from other colleges that have shut down and have made them tigers. Though the football team is still in progress, there is a plethora of campus life activities to be involved in , but dont overexert yourself. A very loving, and diverse college with its first ever female president, filled with honor and integrity .
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Stillman College is 41%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Be prepared to study, and take time out of your social life to get focused , and complete assignments. Doing work on time actually saves the stress and eventually has more time for extra activities that you may be interested. Also make the most out of school.. people say that COLLEGE life is the best time of your life, so enjoy it but get your work done first.
Everybody should join this college.
The worst thing about my school is the lack of funding. I say this because if there were enough funds for the school the departments of college would be able to do more activities with the students.
The best thing about Stillman College is the combination of family and education. Family and education rolled up into one school is important and essential. For only that combination can make four years and a degree last a lifetime.
Stillman is a four-year, co-educational, liberal arts college that offers bachelor of arts and science degrees. It is small in size and a historical black college. The college was founded in 1876 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The motto for the school is traditon, excellence, and vision. The faculty is divided into three divisions: Arts and Sciences, Business, and Education. What makes our college so unique is that we have a business attire day on Thursday where all the student dress from eight to five. We also have special services on the campus that students attend that are church oriented.
Stillman is entirely too expensive for the teaching curriculum.
my classmates are very smart and intelligent african american students.
How many loans I would have to take out and how expensive this school. Also that they did not have public transportation in this town. That once you start at this school that not all of your credits will transfer.
A person that doesn't has alot of money or like big campus.
The social life is very exciting meeting people from all over the US, and being active in sports.
The most frustrating thing at Stillman is how much it cost to attend.
a couple people who are famous graduated from there.
