Really like the campus and enjoy the campus life. There is always an event to attend at least three times a week and usually on weekends. The food is amazing ; vegetables, guilty pleasure foods , have all you want cause the cafeteria is actually a buffet. We have included students from other colleges that have shut down and have made them tigers. Though the football team is still in progress, there is a plethora of campus life activities to be involved in , but dont overexert yourself. A very loving, and diverse college with its first ever female president, filled with honor and integrity .

I love my HBCU. College is more than obtaining a degree. The experience I have had over the last 4 years, have mapped me into becoming the person I am today. Stillman College, provides each student the opportunities of a lifetime. If you utilize the resources, in front of you, you have no reason to fail. The student's are set up for nothing but success!

I think I am going to really like it here. I have visited this campus as well as many others, and I chose here because of the location. I thought the campus was very historical looking and old, which made it beautiful to me. The classrooms are small in size, and that is something that I really like. The teachers really get to know the students when the class is small. The hallways were freshly waxed, and the grass is mowed weekly to keep the campus looking sharp. I will be playing softball here and I am honored. The coach was very encouraging to me and made me feel like Stillman was the place for me. Go Tigers!

Decieving. Stillman tells you one thing then turns around and does the other. At first someone would love to attend until they actually get here and realize that it was a waste of time. Also, they are unorganized. You move into a dorm just to move out in two days. Next, they tell you they will gift you with scholarship money then sign you up for loans.
When I visited I felt at home, and very welcome.

Stillman is a tight-knit community filled with support and love. The cafeteria food and on-campus housing have room for many improvements. There is no co-ed housing, and only a few people eat in the cafeteria everyday. Classes are small and personal, the professors are always available for their students. The work load is light compared to other colleges, but the material learned is beyond comparison. Stillman College, like any other college, could use some improvement. However, overall, I love my school.

The advice that I would give high school self would be to study harder than what you already do. The transition from high school studying and college studying is totally diffent and it becomes harder if you are not already studying on a college level. Not only just for classes, but for the ACT also. If I would have studied more I could have got a scholarship from Stillman College. I would also tell myself that I should apply myself more. Doing enough just to get by will not get you by on the college level. I would say that you have to go beyond what everyone else is doing to separate you from the crowd. Even though I had a lot of success my first year at Stillman College, I could have had more if I would have really stayed focused in high school. One of the most important things that I would tell my high school self is to apply for more scholarships. Even though I had 10 or more scholarships going into my freshmen year I would have had many more if I would have simply applied for more and been consistent with applying for them.
I widsh would have knew that there were going to be some sleepless nights due to working hard and trying to get everything done in one day before I started at Stillman.
The worst thing about my school is the lack of funding. I say this because if there were enough funds for the school the departments of college would be able to do more activities with the students.

The care and love for each other was unique. At other schools you might not even meet half of the people on campus but at Stillman everyone knows who you are. The teachers actually know who you are and want the best for you and I personally think that Stillman was the best choice for me. Most people do not take pride in their prospective school, but at Stillman you will fall in love with everything that happens on campus. Every school has rules but once you adjust to it, it will make you feel like you're at home.
The advice that I would give myself would be just to stay more focused do not do all that I could to get by and that is what most seniors do. Most high school seniors would start planning for their college years, party their last months of high school away and lose focus on being on stop and those are the things that most seniors do. I would take all my distractions and pay no mind until I got where I needed to be and that is on top. I would strive to get all the scholarships that I could get that I know that I was able to get but also take in all the advice about college that I could.
The thing that I would brag on the most is the warm embrace that everyone has. When you first step onto Stillman's campus everyone is so warm and they show a lot of hospitality to their guests. The friendships that you make are long-lasting ones. Having teachers who are actually concerned about their students well-being makes you feel special inside as if they really care that you succeed in life and that makes you along with the friends make you want to build a great education at Stillman College. So I say choose Stillman, hoping you would.

You need to study way harder than you are! I know its easy now but if you dont get all the simple concepts down, the advanced ones in a collegiate setting will become much more difficult. And once your in college, you have to pay to learn, it literally cost you money to not be quick learner. So quit skating htrough high school with just enough inspiration to graduate, you need to get off your ass and give it your all!
