Its an amazing place to grow and really find your self. With such a big campus there are a lot of extra circular activities and clubs to join. You are bound to find something that interest you. Everybody is so polite and nice always with a smile. Some of the freshmen classes can be a little intimidating as they are pretty big in size but don't let that frighten you. Professor are always there to meet up with you after school you just have to communicate with them.

I absolutely love living in College Station and attending Texas A&M. Coming from a predominantly Aggie family, it's a complete dream come true. The atmosphere around campus is one of safety and an enthusiasm for learning. Even outside of the classroom, there are over one thousand organizations to join, so you're guaranteed to find one you are interested in. I couldn't ask for a better place to spend my college years.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Texas A&M University has provided me with a home away from home. It is not only an amazing college with unbelievable academics, but it is also a home. Texas A&M provides so many extracurricular activities that leads to finding your family at college. A&M allows you to find yourself and be yourself throughout college. It allows you to extend you knowledge farther than you could every imagine. While A&M does have an education that is incomparable to the rest, it also has so many activities where anyone can find somewhere to get involved. Other than these things, A&M has a spirit that everyone who goes there is able to witness. The Aggies love their school and are united in that love for the university.

I love Texas A&M! The people, the culture, and campus are the best in Texas. I feel safe and supported. I have had countless opportunities to grow and stretch myself as a person. I have been amazed by the work ethic of my peers and professors. I have learned so many things that will stick with me for a lifetime because they have become a part of my worldview. Having a set of core values and the Corps of Cadets on campus makes our campus really unique in it's amount of patriotism and willingness to serve the state, nation, and world. There are so many amazing resources and research niches, from developing new, self driving forms of transportation to the digital humanities, and those research opportunities are extended to undergraduate and graduate students. We also have a solid startup culture. Texas A&M excels in a diverse array of fields, from the liberal arts to engineering. I transferred here from UT and I am certain I made the right choice. The flexibility of my degree plan has enabled me to cater my classes to my specific goals in life and my department has helped me learn about all my options after graduation. I have never lived on campus, but there are plenty of options for off campus housing, including many that fit a college budget. My advisors and professors have always been available when I've reached out to them. The financial aid office has always been helpful as well. We are also always growing and improving (for example, the Rec, the Zachry building, and Rellis campus). The energy on campus (and through the whole town) in the fall is incredible, and I don't even care about football; it's just great to be around! I also just love walking around campus every day because it's like walking around a gigantic park! There are so many gorgeous live oaks! I love that the traffic in this town isn't insane, like in Austin/Dallas/Houston. The traditions bring everyone together and create a more cohesive, united student body. Outside of class there are tons of opportunities to do whatever suits you--I've been to classical Indian concerts, hockey games, and poetry readings, among others. A&M gives you the opportunities, and it's up to you to make the most of it.

"Texas A&M University in College Station is the best university in the world." Us students don't just say this for fun; we believe it. We have amazing and passionate professors. There is tons of help available with academics or any problem we may be facing. There is a plethora of programs and organizations that meet just about every student's interests- from dancing, professional societies, leadership organizations, community service events, intramural sports, political and social groups, and traditions council. Traditions at Texas A&M are what we live for. We are the 12th man; we stand tall but more importantly we stand together. I love the sense of unity I feel at my school, and I cannot describe the feeling of pride and elation I feel when I get the opportunity to tell someone I am an Aggie. I could not see myself at any other university. I knew this was the place for me the minute I stepped foot on campus. I was welcomed and automatically felt at home. "Howdy! My name is Jessica Junco. I am a Civil Engineering major from Houston, Texas , but more importantly I am THE loudest and THE proudest member of the fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2019! A-A-A-WHOOP!" Thanks and Gig 'Em!

I did not come here thinking I would stay longer than a year. I planned on doing my first year and transferring out but in that first year I made some life long friends and fell in love with this city, school, environment and campus. There truly is no better place I could imagine living for four years during college.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I know I am a little biased, but I truly believe I attend the best university in the world. When I'm back home, all I can think about is how I cannot wait to get back to A&M. The people are friendly, welcoming, and overall fantastic. The academics is top-tier (don't take my word for it, look up top public universities). The sports are amazing, but there is honestly something for everyone. Whether you come from country roots, or you're more urban and liberal, the school is accepting and you will not only fit in, but love where you're at. Easily the best decision I've made in my life to date.

I love it I love my friends, my housing, the friendly and active attitude everyone have, and the active soul you can clearly see in the city. I literally don't want to finish school so I would stay there.
