Being one of the largest universities in the United States, UT has one of the most diverse campus's. There are stereotypes ranging from smart Asians to stupid sorority girls to the athletic black people.

Jenny

Diverse and liberal

Olivia

Students that go to other universities, especially other schools in Texas, seem to think that UT's students are stuck up, especially when it comes to athletics (which may explain why so many people think it's cute to throw down the Horns.)

Hunter

The majority of the state of Texas is quite conservative. However, the lovely town of Austin remains the sole haven for those with leftist leanings, so naturally everyone, or at least everyone in Texas, assumes that the majority of UT students are liberal pot-smoking hippies. There is an overwhelming fear among adults that their good conservative Christian kids will do a complete 180, becoming radical anarchists, environmentalists, homosexuals, atheists, or a number of other dangerous classifications. A mother, father, or high school counselor might semi-jokingly warn a UT-bound student, "Now, just make sure you don't turn into a liberal atheist or something crazy like that!"
