Well, this will be my first semester at this school, but the staff and students seem very nice and are very helpful. I have had no problems registering for classes or obtaining information. It is a small town of people and they really do care about their students. They help in any way they can. If you are looking for a school that you can feel comfortable in and be yourself, this is the school for you.

A person choosing to attend the University of Illinois at Springfield should be one that is looking for a small student population. The student to teacher ratio is an average of 15:1. With such a small student-population, professors are easier to contact. If one is looking for a campus with a lively social atmosphere, I advise this person not to attend UIS.

A person that is serious about their future and their studies. UIS is a school that can make an immense difference in your future. The professors care so much for the students and as long as the students put forth the effort, they will succeed with the faculty and staff's assistance. I have experience in the workforce but the knowledge that I have learned in the classroom has been the biggest asset for me. I am much more engaged in my work due to the knowledge that UIS has given me.
