Why did you decide to go to this school?

I decided to attend La Verne for a few reasons. One, I loved the idea of a small school. I did not want to be lost in the crowd at a large school and at La Verne I was able to shine. La Verne has very small class sizes, and talking to people from other schools about how they attend class in a large hall with stadium seating and 150 people just was not for me. La Verne was also very gracious to me with financial aid and loans. They made college possible for me.

I came to ULV for spolight weekend, which is something they do for students who have been accepted and are still deciding. It was there that I fell in love with the beautiful campus, and found out about all of the ways to become involved. I really loved the small-town feel, and never really wanted to become lost in a large school like UCLA or USC. I also liked that it was far enough away from where I went to high school, but not too far. (I'm from the bay area).
