UNT is most known for their musical program. They are among the top when it comes to music. They are the Texas Longhorns or Florida Gators or even USC Trojans of the music program.

UNT is best known for its Jazz Program. Not only are there world class professors, but also famous composers who write music specifically for the UNT Jass program to commission. Not to mention the world wide tours that the Jazzers participate in or the multiple grammys that they have received.

University of North Texas is one of the best colleges in the entire United States and has been ranked as the Ninth top level college in USA it is best known for full academic achievable goals and is currently preparing to open a Medical School in addition to normal college education. UNT is one of the best schools for music majors and those, like myself who's life dream is to become a best selling author of Academic and Historical fiction books. Any student that desires to graduate from a top ranked college should consider University North Texas.

The horrible football team but everybody has great school spirit and it's known for being one of the top music schools in the country.

My school is best known for its Music program, we have an amazing one. We are top rated as one of the best in the country, and Its wonderful, every corner you turn on campus you hear or see someone playing an instrument the roads are all full of music. I am not a music major, but everyone appreciates music no matter who you are, it is a language of us all.

The University of North Texas has a well recieved art school

I went to UNT because it's art program came highly recommended amoung Texas colleges. However, they also have an excellent environmental sciences center, and teaching programs.

Our school (University of North Texas) is best known for its diversity as well as its school spirit. The University of North Texas has high attendance rate of International Students, coming from all across the globe. As far as school spirit, every friday is dedicated to "Mean Green Day" where students would usually either wear a school shirt or something green in particular.

My university is best known for its muscical background and the academics. Sports is also a big part of the University but because of a little drop off in some performances in certain areas it is not payed attention to as much.

The music program

A bad football team (which, consequently is the butt of many jokes), and a very good music department - perhaps one of the best for public schools.

This school has a very well-known and accredited music and art/design program; the competition is very high, and completion of the degrees have been very difficult. The design program, for example, accepts a maximun for 56 students per year into the undergraduate interior design program. The music programs require exceeding persistance and skill in reading comprehension.

For the music department and being very artsy. It is a progressive school and is great for professionals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area looking for a masters degree.

The University of North Texas has a wonderful Visual Arts program. During semesters we have a variety of visiting guest speaker from all over the world and working professionals in the Visual Arts and ArtHistory fields. The Political Science department is one of the best. The Photography Department is also one of the best in the country. I will miss being a student at the University of North Texas, when I graduate this year.
