University of North Texas Top Questions

What's unique about University compared to other schools is that my school offers more study abroad programs than any other school i know.

I have been to three schools in three years. It took me a while to figure out where I wanted to be, but somehow I found myself close to home. I love this school because I think the people here are unique. There is always something going on at the campus, and people are everywhere. I feel that the people, professors, and staff at UNT are nice, and actually care about you and your learning experience. Even though I am in some pretty large classes, I still feel as if I am in a small classroom, and I love it.

This school is very diverse and has a great atmosphere. There is a lot of school pride and numerous of organizations to get involved in. The other school I considered was a small private school. There was no official basketball/football teams, they had some org. but not a variety like UNT has.

It's very free and artistic.

I love the location of our school compared to a lot of the other ones. Its not in a too big of a town where you have to struggle with traffic but the city of Dallas and Fort Worth are located nearby.

we do have a strong Christian community for a public school however that is equivocated by the popularity of the Greek systems.

We are an extremely diverse campus. I love the fact that our school does center all social networking on greek life. You can join a plethera of social clubs and be accepted by the rest of the student body. At some schools, you're greek or nothing, but UNT does a fabulous job at reaching all kinds of people and their needs.

I believe that the most unique thing about my school compared to other schools is the size. At UNT, it is a large enough campus to have school pride and large classes, but if small class sizes are your way of learning, they are available as well. With UNT, every student can feel at home.

The athletic programs. It had a strong women's soccer team

That the music program is amazing here and there are so many traditions that other schools dont have. We have the nation's largest student built bonfire, a real cannon, a Ford Model-A and an airflight carrier. It is truly a school that doesn't get the credit it deserves!

UNT has amazing music and visual art programs

The school is very energetic and up beat, students are friendly and classes are satisfying. I feel comfortable expressing myself in class.

This school is very diverse. You will see all types of cultures and religions here. Very liberal environment.

The University of Texas was my first choice, but the location was terrible. The University of North Texas was conviently located so I decided to give it my loyalty. University of North Texas not only proved to be an excellent choice for education, but the diversity in educators overwhelmed me. Diversity in professors gives North Texas the ability to teach students through the eyes of many cultures. I really don't know what other universities have, since I only attended North Texas.

The most unique attribute about this school is the artistic ability this school has. The musicians that attend this college are some of the most talented musicians in the world. We have a well known music program that is recognized all over the globe.

My school is a very environmental focused school. Ironically, our school color is green. However, at UNT green just isn't a color; its our economic friendly facilites, recycling, etc.

UNT is a very diverse campus. There are alot of events that gather everyone from different races, classes and ethnic backgrounds. Fun just doesn't take place on the weekdays but also on the weekends for those who stay around the school.

My school has a bus route that helps students save on gas, parking, and is better on the environment

The University is known for its music department and for their Masters program.

There was a diversity of people who attended the school and was easy for freshman to find a group of friends that they fit in with. Everyone is very friendly their and willing to help you out.

The music programs offered at this school are phenomenal and are uniquely reflected by the atmosphere of the city. Denton is widely known for its musical environment, whether that entails the famous people that have come from this area (i.e. Bowling for Soup, Norah Jones, etc...), or simply the weekend gatherings at the old courthouse lawn; something is always to be heard and enjoyed on and off campus.

UNT is unique because it allows all types of people the opportunity to study and become something they want to be.

I think my school is a very close community of learners. I am in the college of education and I have made wonderful relationships with peers and professors. We are a clost knit little family.

THIS PLACE SUCKS GO SOME WHERE ELSE WHIlE YOU STILL CAN!!!

I wouldn't say that there is an uncontrollable amount of drug use at UNT, but there have been instances. My advice, don't be one of these of students, it's a fast way out of here!
