I am proud to be a member of our nationally acclaimed music school, which hosts award-winning faculty and Grammy-winning ensembles. The UNT College of Music brings in famed performers, conductors, and clinicians every semester to give concerts, lectures, and master classes that I would have never had access to anywhere else. Our alumni work in the US Army Band, the Metropolitan Opera, and professional symphonies all over the world. As a music education student at the UNT College of Music, I have the opportunity to network early and get hands-on experience in my field.

Honesty I don't really brag to my friends about anything, I'm more of a listner than a talker.

I dont brag, but if I did it would have to be about the events and my friends here. I love the people I have met here because they are genuine and whenever I am upset they always find a way to make me feel better.

It is fun and a life growing experience. I can feel responsible when I'm managing my time and doing my stressful school work. I always feel acomplished after each semester not by just completing school work but the material I have learned. When it comes to the weekends I'm able to enjoy myself either with a large party, or just quality times with life long friends.

It is a really fun campus. There is always something to do. The rec center is awesome and they have a variety of classes you can take. Even though we dont have the best football team, tailgaiting at the football games is the best part of the fall semester!

For the most part, I would brag about the school's potential. It is growing faster than it can compensate, but it has a long way to go before it is a competitor with UT, Tech, and A&M.

It's very convenient. I can get across campus in 10-15 minutes, but it's big enough to feel like you are in college, not high school.

The school provides high quality education at a very affordable price.

At UNT, I brag about the diversity of our campus. Not only are we ethnically and culturally diverse, we are also diverse in many other ways. We are known for our music program but we also have excellent fine arts programs, engineering programs and our pre-professional organizations are growing tremindously. There is always something for everyone.

It is very diverse and open-minded when it comes to cultures and world views. My town growing up was very close-minded and opinionated, so I appreciate the fact that the people at UNT are individualitists.

I brag about the beautiful atmosphere because the campus is surrounded by trees. I also boast about the enrollment rate because it is perfect. The school is just the right size in my opinion.

The music department, the Honors College/Hall, the Muchison Performing Arts Center, specific faculty members (particularly in the music department).

I love how diverse UNT is, and how well people get along, even though they might be so "different." The arts are strongly supported at the school along side "normal" academics. I love that I can meet so many different, wonderful people while i learn and grow. I am also very happy to be out on my own at college, but be near enough to my family incase there is an emergency that I cannot handle myself, or my family needs me.

That it has one of the best artistic/music programs in the country.

Close to Dallas. Very nice campus. Greek organizations are fun.
