Are students more or less likely to get a job after graduation?

It all depends on the extent of their talents, LOR’s & especially who they know who can grease the skids.

More likely, since they were trained in a very specialized environment.

No matter what your college major, employment depends on your chosen field. There have been time periods when the market was bad and business majors struggled to find satisfactory employment. The same applies in the arts. Obviously, some fields are easier than others. If hiring is based on knowledge and skills (e.g. technical theater), you are more likely to find a job than those in performance based fields where employment is based more on whether you fir the need they have at the moment (e.g. actors, singers, dancers). Of course there are many liberal arts graduates working in other fields. My undergraduate major was art and art history for example.
