At the beginning of the school year. Here’s an old adage I live by: Plan your work, your your plan. Nobody plans to fail, but too many fail to plan!

It is never too early to start thinking about the next step. Contact the career services office and let them know your thoughts. Put out feelers at places you’d be interested in working/interning. “The early bird gets the worm” can certainly hold true here. If you have l long break between semesters, take advantage of the opportunity to get your foot in the door. By volunteering initially, they see your skill set and just may offer you something more permanent for the summer.
