What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?


It's not as bad as it seems. There are planty of great professors, and also some good people that make great friends.


You usually don't need to raise your hand to have your question answered by the teacher


I wish I would have known there are many resources available to me if I just asked and took the time to research it out. I just thought that since I was going to a community college that it would not have as many resources and opportunities as UC or a cal-state does.


One thing I wish I had known before attending BC would be what school I wanted to transfer too, so that I would know the right classes to take. Although I learned a lot in those classes, I didn't really need to take them.


I wish that I had more knowldge about the hoops a student has to jump through in order to transfer from a two-year community college to a four-year university. The rules and guidelines can be confusing and muddled, and if one does not pay attention, one can jeopardize the chances of tranferring. However, the transfer counselors are very knowledgable and will help a student if they have even the most basic grasp on what they want to do and what school they would like to transfer to.


I wish I knew about how much they help you and understand the situations people are in. I wish I knew about the all the programs they provide to all their students. I also wish I knew that the scheduling is so flexible that just about anyone could attend this school.
