The dorm situation at Baylor depends totally on what dorm you stay in. There are very new dorms, such as Brooks Residential College and North Village that are nice and new. They come with large, suite style rooms. There are also older dorms that have cramped rooms, community bathrooms, and are generally not liked by many people. All freshman are required to live on campus their first year - so to make the most of it you want to make sure that you know which dorm you are getting into. The newer dorms like Brooks and North Village require applications, though they are rather simple and it is more a matter of getting your application completed early than what it actually contains.
