What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

For me personally I think what I had know before I came to BC or any school as a matter of fact was to advocate for myself and fellow students. Because the vioce of the student is considered and tried to be used for change.

There are a lot of services (tutoring, counseling, advising (academic and finacial), career, pre-med etc.) that are available but you would never know about them unless you asked.

I wish I had known about the "BC biddies" and "BC bros"; they are like frat boys and sorority girls, except we don't have fraternaties and sororoties here.

I wish that I had known about the importance students give money on campus such as dress and status.

Financial Aid can vary enormously from year to year. Talk to your professors outside of class.
