I think Cameron is known a lot for thier community service. All groups on campus participate in a lot of events for the community and are incouraged to do volunteer work.
Cameron University is known for it's opportunity. It's a school with open arms, accepting all walks of life into it. Teaching anyone who is willing to learn. Helping everyone it can to their fullest potential.

My school is best know for how diverse and safe it is. There are so many people from different countries that are fun to get to know and the security officers are on campus 24 hours a day.
Cameron University is, as far as many colleges go, fairly inexpensive, especially when compared to such schools as OU and OSU. The campus is fairly good size and has friendly proffessors who truly care that you get your money's worth in your classes. The campus has two highrize dorm complexes and a popular apartment complex, "the village", or Cameron village. Small to moderate class sizes allow student-teacher interaction, not seen in such schools as OU.
Lawton, Oklahoma aka Ft. Sill is best know for being the home of the Cherokee Nation. .
