CMU is a great school and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the programs that we offer.

They could be a little less strict on the amount of food we are allowed in the cafeteria. Makes me mad that I am paying 10 bucks per meal and the people tell me I can only have 1 sandwich. Ill have as many as I want. Im paying their wages.

CMU is a great place to be. After considering distantly second to U of M, I can now reflect on my choices, and I'm glad I chose CMU; considering my closest friend went to U of M, and I can see how his college experience has been for him, I truly don't think I would have been as happy, or as well prepared for the future at the University of Michigan.

Danny

Obviously every campus is going to have something you don't like. For me, I can't think of one thing. There's like 5 places to eat on campus, Main Street (famous for our Frat & Sorority houses), quick walks to class, and friendly people. I guess all I can say is if you're a freshmen the walk to your car is sorta a bitch, but at least you get a car on campus (can't say that at U of M or MSU).

Choosing Central Michigan University has truly been the best decision I have ever made - as cliched as that sounds. I have been provided opportunities, made friendships, and learned more than I ever imagined. There is always room for improvement, but I think that Central has a great starting point.

Our leadership program is the best in the nation. We are the most progressive school in the nation in Sexual Assault awareness education and prevention. Our administration has a real life approach to the issue and takes steps to help those affected by the issue.

I feel that even though we have the sterotype of being the drunk college campus that it just isn't true. People do like to have a good time, but a lot of students on campus don't drink. They find other ways to have fun and hang out with friends. I know that I like to do homework on Saturday nights and I am completely fine with that.

If you're looking for a school that's not in a huge city, but you're looking for a great education, a fun time, and a chance to meet a bunch of really cool people, seriously come to Central Michigan. FIRE UP CHIPS!!!!!!!!!! :)

Katelyn

Central is a place where a student can explore many opportunities that will shape his or her future.

Alex

Quite frankly, this is a little rediculus, I can hardly speak for the majority of students on a college campus like Central. we're not a huge college, but we're large enough that I walk by new people each and every day. This is not Alma and this is not a high school. To try and categorize it like one is stupid. The only way for a potential student to know if they'll be happy at a school is to physically go visit it and talk to the current students.
