CPCC is a place where you can go during high school to earn college credits, or just your typical every day community college. The staff there is pretty nice and the classes overall are okay. Some of the students' immaturity could be vastly improved on, but other than that it's a decent school that hopes to encourage you and help you succeed.

I think it has a beautiful campus, and has a bevy of beneficial amenities. The academics are great, and the professors are easily reachable. I feel like I've gained the academic tools necessary to transfer to a four year university. However, I wish there were more things to do around campus. Also, there is a lot of construction which can be a bit frustrating. However, the students and faculty are extremely friendly, and have made this experience at Central Piedmont Community College very pleasurable and memorable.

Central Piedmont is a great transition school. The school offer many semester options such as short session semesters. The classes are very affordable, and also great class sizes. The school offer different style classes that can best suit you. They have full face to face classes, hybrid classes which are the short session classes. and also partial classes which are online and face to face classes.

I have overall enjoyed the school. I live at home. I drive 15 miles one way. There are not really enough classes to choose from to make my schedule work so on Fridays I have to drive in for only one class. Sometimes the professor then lets us out early which is aggravating after I have driven in for the class. The Biology teachers are not good at all. The business teachers are very good. I really enjoyed my history class at the Cato and Merancus campuses. The satellite campuses are not large enough to have food on campus so I enjoy the Subway that is on central campus. There is usually some security present however I often see a very aggressive trans gender loud person at the central campus at night that makes me very uncomfortable calling random people that pass by homophobes etc. He hasn't yelled this to me personally but I have witnessed it several times even with security present and they don't even say anything to him about his aggressiveness to passers by. I try to leave campus as quick as I can at night due to this one particular person. The school offers tutoring but it is at times that I have other classes. One of the accounting teachers allowed me to sit in his class when I was having a difficult time with an online accounting class and it was so very helpful. I got an A in the class due to his help.

This is a great college it prepares students for the future just like any other 4 year universities. The college has great facilities, security and the profs are always available to help students out. This college is also debt free. Students do not owe a lot of loan debts after they graduate. After graduation students end up getting a job immediately, the school also offers paid internships. There is also a free one on one tutoring section that everyone is welcome to attend and receive assistance.

It's a lifesaver! It's the best Community College I've ever been to, and that is why I stayed here. There are plenty of student life activities to get involved in, great class sizes, great professors, helpful advisors, and a nice/ large campus. I recommend this Community College all the time to my friends who are looking for a cheaper alternative to getting their associate's degree, continuing education, or any other credited courses. The only thing I would improve at the school is to open more class sections.

I think that Central Piedmont Community College is underrated. There are so many opportunities to take and academic programs offered and it is simply amazing. For the most part, the professors seem very understanding, as long as one participates in class and show that they are trying their best.

Central Piedmont Community College has made a fantastic impression on me. I have loved all my teachers so far and the facilities are well kept. The classmates and professors are of all kinds of backgrounds. Most class sizes are about 28 people so it is not too crowded. I was able to find out about more degrees and certificates they had which gave me plenty of options to decide for a major and to learn about. There is easy access to food, activities, and more. The trolley comes through the campus so there is free transportation between the hospital to the campus to the epicenter.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

There are 5 Central Piedmont Community College campuses around the city. The one I attend this semester is the Levine campus and the campus is nice. It has a lot of facilities and resources for the students to use, the custodians and students keep the campus clean and there is a lake with a fountain behind the campus which is very pretty and relaxing. The only food options on campus is a subway and an off-brand bakery cafe. The teachers are nice and helpful (especially my math teach). Cpcc offers activities to students like volunteering and clubs.
