The fact that there are not a lot of school wide activities such as sports and things of that nature the really unify the students. There are clubs in my school but they are not a major deal on campus because sevral people here are mainly focused on getting everything done in two years. Mostly everyone is focused on transferring or heading off into the work place.
The one thing that I consider the worst thing about my school is the fact that it needs more facilities and classrooms. With the higher demand for education, more students graduating from high school are opting to go to a community college first. It is important for the institution to reflect that change, and make the adjustments as quick as possible. It is a very well organized college, it just needs a little more space for the influx in student attendence.
There's nothing that I would consider to be worst about DTCC. The staff and professors are friendly and ready to help when asked. They have several organizations on campus that would fit everyone. If I had to say worst , it would have to be the bookstore because it is small and when its time to get your books the line is throughout the building and the books that are needed are out. Other than that, there's really nothing.
