That there is only pilots and predominately male are the typical stereotypes for ERAU. There is actually more engineers and Global Security and Intelligence Studies majors than pilots (Aeronautical Science majors), but there is a 1:5 ratio of women to men.
The stereotype of our students are that we graduate as the best of the best. Many of our students walk out of our University with this title.
People often associate all the students here as being rich kids from California. Although a large number of our student body are from California, rich is hardly the term used to describe us. All of the students attend this school because they know what they want to study and have know for a while. The students are focused and want to jump into their degree program right away. As for the money, most students receive scholarships or federal aid. Attending any school is expensive, but this one is worth the cost.
