Since I go to the online part of Everest, I can only speak for the online students. There are all types of students who attend Everest Online University. From the young, to the middle age, to the older adult. Students for the online division are from all over the country, and possibly the world. There is a diverse culture in the online division. Such as, I am from New Mexico, and I know of another student who is from Pennsylvania. In the online division it doesn't matter how you dress,or how much money you make. You can wear a business suit, or your pajamas. You can be very wealthy, or live off of disability. No one knows unless you tell them. Online is a lot different then a lot of the aspects of traditional college, but in a lot of ways it is the same. I for one love the online education. I can take my classes and study at my time, not a set time.

Considering I am part of the LGBT community, I do what I can for that community. I am not a racial person when it comes to anything. I can be friends with anybody. I realy couldn't say what kind of student would feel left out at this school because I do not go to school on campus. I do all of my schooling online. I do not know who wears what in this school eother. Me, I can wear anything from my clothes to my pajamas while doing my homework. It is pretty cool. I believe all students interact in this school. I am not sure about the financila background for everyone, but the one that suited me the most was Financial Aid. It has helped me a lot. I have also gotten student loans to help out with my schooling. I have never seen or heard a student talk about how much they will make one day from going to school and earning a degree.

Seeing as how I am an online student, I don't actually "talk" to the students much. We have our team assignments and have to interact with each other on the computer. However, even though we don't talk, I have never had a problem getting along with other students. We might have a difference of opinion on something but we can state our opinions and work it out or agree to disagree. There has never been a point where students could not get along.

Every student I've had the pleasure of working with so far has been very respectful, helpful, and motivating with their hard work in the classes. Everyones main focus is the course their attending and work towards learning all that they can. We all come from different financial backrounds, age groups, heritage; but were all here to help each other learn and achieve in our academics.

The students are those of so many ethnicities and cultures. It is kind of interesting to work with others of a different culture. The joy of online classes is that it is not about what you look like, where your from, or if you have an accent becasue it is online and noone sees you and you can just be yourself without having to worry about being judged.

I can't really answer this question about other students on my campus as I don't go to school on campus. I take online courses and the students in my class are great and very helpful and nice. I am sure the ones that are on campus are as well also.
