At Florida A&M University everyone is so nice. I'm sure people can be nice at institutions, but here it's like everyone is looking out for you. If it's a job opportunity, or just a "how are you doing today," some one on that campus is going to make sure you feel at home.

My school focuses on trying to get their students to stay motivated while trying to get there degree. The teachers are very encouraging and caring.

I have applied to many school in Florida such as: USF, Uf, and FAMU. I have been accepted into USF and FAMU, but I perferred FAMU because of all the pleasing compliments I have heard from numerous people, those whom are attending and those of whom my mother is friends with. When I finally came here to FAMU for my first semester I have truly met many who are willing to help with any diffuculties and many who are caring. Also, there are those who will encourge you to do your best when you feel like there is no hope.

It provides the "Black Experience" at all of it students as well as aid in the progression of African Amrican students.

I really wanted to go to Florida State University(FSU) but i was denied, so I applied to my second choice school, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University(FAMU), and i was accepted. I never regret putting in an apllication for this University. Actually, Im glad that FSU did not accept me because i love it at FAMU . FAMU is unique because of its different approaches to cultures being that it is an HBCU, they make sure that we are in touch with our ancestory yet doesn't offend any other race. FAMU embraces all races and makes everyone feel heard.

What?s unique about my school is the fact that it is a HBCU school. The school band is very talented which reflects the school as well. Florida A&M University?s famous band known as ?Marching 100? is very prestigious, they've played at the Presidents inauguration and many big events as well. The band is the exact example of the environment and a wonderful feeling to experience the attachment of FAMU?s family. It's home away from home. Florida A&M University is a close family oriented school and family oriented environment as well.

The unique things about my school compared to the other schools that I considered is that we have many people that have been sucessful compared to the other schools i considered such as the rapper Common, the U.S House Of Represenatives Kendrick Meek, and tennis great Althea Gibson. This university has a rich history starting from 1887 and was one of the first historically black colleges in the nation. Still to this day there is a pride of being a "Rattler" and the spirit has drawn me to this school F.A.M.U.

Florida A&M University is an institution that prides it?s self on excellence for their students. A few qualities that set?s my school apart for other universities is that , the students, are prepared to apply our knowledge, critical thinking skills and creativity as service for our community. As a first-year student I can honest say the atmosphere here; mimic?s that of a true home away from home. We are often times granted the opportunity to be in the presence of people who have achieved great success during their time, which only amplifies our mission of excellence.

Florida A&M is like a small community. Everyone greets and acknowledges everyone with the same respect and geniality as their own family. It's very hard not to find someone to like and share ideas with here.

The unique thing about my school is that it is a historically black university. I mean it allowed me to see and get in touch with my roots (African American) . I love the fact that I feel a sense of belonging, the professors are great, and students work diligently.

My school is unique beacuse I feel like the professors care about there students more than ever. We are like a big family anytime help is needed it will be given to you soon as possible. Florida A and M continues to help students throughtout their career. The alunmis are a big help also. we support each other in everything we do for example, putting on programs to aware people about didfferent situations. I love and respect my school. My school is a historically black university, but I am a white female who attends there. Even though I am one of the few white people, everyone is very welcoming and helpful. They truly do not see color and that is something that you do not see at every school. I know if I ever need help with ANYTHING at my school, there will always be someone more than happy to assist me.

I think my school is unique because of the tradition! It's very great to get together and hang out with my peers and also the alumni and have a good time celebrating sports, greek life, ethnicity, etc.

Our school spirit bleeds orange and green. No other school compares to the amount of spirit our school has. We all come together to strike strike strike no matter who you hang with we are one family.

I think that my school is unique compared to others because it is a HBCU. The others that i applied to are not, and it is a great experience to be at this type of college.

What seems to e unique about my school is that students begin taking classes that are related to their major in their freshman year, and even though classes are taken seriously, they are quite easy to pass aas long as you do your work.

I think the most unique thing about my school is its ability to fit you no matter what type of learner, character, athletic, or anything that you may do, you can fit in. There is an outlet for every type of individual out there and it is so good to know that noone ever feels left out or like they are lonesome here at this school because there is always someone on some part of this campus that you can relate to and have a myriad of things to partake in with.

The students that attend there majoring in many different areas are career focused and goal oriented. The social setting is a place where all the students come together and share the orange and green school spirit. Graduating from FAMU opens up all students to the many resources involved with the school as far as jobs, internships, and job placements. FAMU is a joyous school that encourages the students to be all they can be and succeed to the absolute maximum that they can.

The school spirit, the history, the greek life, and the schools and colleges (Pharmacy, SBI, and Engineering) at out school makes others look bad! The diversity and small class sizes is a plus as well. Tallahassee is the ultimate college town!

i love how everyone can party hard and still be focoused on school. also this college is an hbcu and there is no other like it. everyone has so much school school spirit.

FAMU will give students that have been denied from other university or college, a chance and will accept them.

Whats unique about my school is although you think you can get far just acidemically you really have to network to get far on and off campus.
