The best thing about my school is the people we have attending here. When I first started, all the freshmen were seperated into groups, and in each group we all had a peer leader, and a "big sister" they basically helped us settle in. I can honestly say that with having these people in my group I would have been absolutly miserable at school. I am so thankful that everyone I have met here on campus is so friendly to everyone. It makes me feel a little less home sick, and not so lonely on campus.
The best thing about my school is the community feel. It is really hard to walk anywhere around campus and not see/ speak to indivduals on the sidewalks. This really makes you feel at home at Gardner-Webb University. It is also really dificult to not get involved in something. You have to deliberatly try not to get involved.
I attend the GOAL program which is held on satalite campus. Mine is at Mayland Community College in Spruce Pine, NC. It is cheaper and it allows you to finish your degree two nights a week while some classes are offered online. Great atmosphere and my advisor is wonderful and has helped me every step of the way. I may even be eligable to graduate a semester earlier and save more money. Can't get any better than that.
Small classrooms and somewhat helpful teachers.
I think the best thing about Gardner-Webb is the faculty and staff. The majority of them are very kind and helpful, and do all they can to help you. The advisor I had when I first started was amazing! She went out of her way to help me out and answer any questions I had. Also, even though Gardner-Webb does not offer very much financial aid, most everyone in the financial aid is very helpful and kind and understanding, especially compared to the college I transferred from.
The small classes. Because this gives the professors more opportunity to get to know each of us and help us if needed.
I would have to say that the environment itself is the best part of GWU. It seems that all the people here are so friendly and kind-hearted that the atmosphere is great. From what I can tell from being here a semester, most people seem to be willing to help one another if possible which is something I admire. I don't know, maybe I'm just an optimistic person but I simply love the social atmosphere at this school.
The best thing about my school is the friendly atmosphere. The school feels to be more of a family than students, faculty, and staff. We support one another and are each other's support system. This school offers a safe place of comfort and support. The members of this commnity are persons of good persona, have zeal for life, and are willing to act in the best interest of others in multiple ways which blends a group of people into a university community.
They offer many grants for getting good grades.
the people that are always here to help in any way...spiritual...personal..academic
Size, availability of staff and faculty, awesome president, good curriculum, variety of majors for a small school
There are many positive aspects of Gardner-Webb University that contribute to making the students experience there the best possible. The thing that stood out most to me during my four years there and that is drawing me back for graduate school is the small family atmosphere. The professors show genuine care and guidance for the students. The small campus and nature of the planned campus activities contribute to the family atmosphere and foster cohesiveness between its students. Everyone is genuinely friendly and willing to help each other reach their goals.
The best thing about my school is the kindness of the students and the professors' eagerness to help the students learn.
The people and environment are the best at Gardner-Webb. I love all of my friends and it is encouraging to live among such strong Christians, yet still be able to minister to non-believers as well.
