What are the academics like at your school?

The beginning classes are really large and taught by very famous professors, while the higher level classes get much more personal and concentrated. My beginning Economics class had 800 people, while upper level ones have 10-15 sometimes.

I love my history professor Donald Owastrwski . My other favorite professor from the classic department is Albert Heinrichs . I study often and spend many hours in Widener library.

Challenging, mostly from peer pressure, in the sense that most students work hard, but people also work together well. Most classes form study groups and review groups.

I wouldn't say that there is a close relationship between students and Professors, and some classes are told by Teaching Fellows who are uncommitted to their job:(

I like the academics at Harvard in terms of my professors. I am very close with most of them. The one thing that is hard is the amount of work required.

Yes, all of my professors know my name. There is a very close student-faculty relationship here.
