ISU is a great school for those seeking educations in agriculture, engineering, or veterinary science.

That we are all agriculture majors and lived on farms growing up.

Easy to get in...not as good as University of Iowa...

There are a lot of hicks attending Iowa State and that many of the students are there to be a farmer.

Moo U is what I heard when I had chosen ISU, because of its strong Ag college. other than that everything I knew and experienced, was a very friendly campus. Great students, and it was a large university that felt small, not a day went by that I didn't see half a dozen people I knew walking around campus!

That we're all relaxed farm-kids, which is true and what makes us one of the friendliest campuses yet.

Well since the riots? Crazy, party kids. When I was interviewing for jobs, my interviewers were impressed with my degree from ISU.

That we are all farmers and hicks who are just surrounded by corn...that all we do is have keggers out in the fields...that we suck at football...but there are good ones too - that we are smart, hard working, dedicated, etc.

Iowa State students are known for being very intelligent, for it's special majors such as Engineering, Design as well as Science and Agriculture. The graduate, and PhD programs as well as all the research programs here are some of the best in the country.
