Johnson & Wales University's location is one of the many great things about the school. Location is everything and Charlotte is a perfect place to develop and become a contender in the endless fields of study Johnson & Wales has to offer. For college students who are serious about their career and want endless opportunities to succeed in your field of choice, the 'Queen City' is a place where one can be as thriving as the new up and coming city.
Johnson & Wales University has a lot of club organizations that can help out. You can be apart of a school organizations by finding the right connections you need. For example, building a relationship with your professors because they are the one's that can help find internship opportuinty. The class size is small so you have advantages to interact with the professors. My school also have an academic support center that can get help with your writing and private tutors if you struggling with one courses.
Now that I have had my time at Johnson and Wales, my favorite thing about this school are the staff member. Everyone here is here for one reason, to help you succeed. Every class I go to is connected by one passion, food. The teachers and chef are well imformed on how to get you to the level you want to be at. They are all willing to help you with connection and it makes me feel safe. I know that once I am done at Johnson and Wales I will not be out of work.
Johnson & Wales University is the best school because it is a university with a culinary program. There isn't another school that can give you a real college experience while obtaining a culinary degree.
On my campus tour, I saw the class size is rather small with an average of 27 students a class and hands on experience and learning also.
That it is really conservative and it has a dress code that all the studetns have to obey. They also have a cery strong Culinary Arts progam that i know of.
That they have hands on learing for culinary art and all the clubs you can join.
The upside down curriculum is what I think is best. It allows students to jump directly into the classes directed to their major.
The best thing about my school is the atmosphere. JWU is sort of a private university so you know that the people there are headstrong and are there to learn instead of using college as some sort of getaway to party and have no worries.
Johnson and Wales University provides the best hands on learning experience out there. Its gives you the chance to work with the best chefs out in the industry and gives a feel of what the outside world is like. Johnson & Wales University not only is culinary, but it is business, fashion, sports, and jounalism. It caters to anyone that may need help in advancing their careers or looking to garnish their degree. Johnson & Wales is a school for anyone.
The school coins themselves as America's career university. There is a substantial career center which has a 98% job placement rate after graduation .
At Johnson and Wales you get alot of hands on learning and actually get to apply what you're talking about in the classroom. All the teachers are interested in you as a person not just a student or a number in a big crowd. They talk with you and help you decide what career path is best for you.
THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS SCHOOL IS THE EXPERIENCE. IT REALLY HELPS YOU GET PREPARED FOR YOU FUTURE. YOU GET HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH NOTHING BUT THE BEST ITS JUST SO MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE TO SPEND TO GET THERE AND STAY THERE .
The best thing about my school is the opportunity I have to work in my field while I am attending school. This gives me a jump start on my career in the hotel management field and allows me to try other areas within that field like food service that will eventually help me to decide where I want to concentrate on when I get a position after graduation.
The best thing that I consider at my school are the professors. From the first day of class you can tell that the professor really love to teach and want you to learn. They will do what every they can to help you with any problems or concerns. If there are new oppurtunities that are presented to the professors they will always pass them on to you.
Johnson & Wales University has an upside down curriculum, which means the first trimester of school, you are already in a classroom that is in your field of interest. Not only that but they are Career focused, Globally Orineted, Experientally Based, Student Centered, and Industry Driven. Everything students should be looking in a University.
I think that my school is very career focused and they try to teach the students about becoming an adult , more than most schools do.
The best thing about my school is that every thing is hands on. It doesn't matter if you don't have any cooking experience
when you get there. But you can beat eany amount of money that you will when you come out.Every one there is so help ful a
and they want you to do well in what ever you choose to do. We offer more than culinary arts at my school, fashion, business,
hotel management and sports entertainment. I would not tell you nothing wrong.
The best thing about JWU are the relationships created amongst the students. The childishness of high school is gone within the student body. Students do no criticize each other and I have yet to experience a hostile environment on or off campus. The relationships between students and other students and the relationships between students and professors make JWU an excellent school.
This school does provide good facilities and learning tools for the students. Some of the teachers are really great and teach well.
I think that the best part of the school would be the professors. Most of the professors have actual experience and a background in the field that they are teaching. Most are very commited to the progress of the students in class.
The thing about Johnson & Wales is all the partical hands-on learning offered to us. All the skills we learn can be applied the next day in a real-life work experience; this knowledge is invaluable.
