What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?


I wish i would have known how little in the area there was to do. I am very focused at school; however, on weekends there are not a lot of restaurants or hang out spots around town. It can get boring in Huntingdon very easily.


That it was turning from a unique, one-of-a-kind school into a diploma fill for science grads.


That this is actually a very academically advanced school that also teaches its students to be well-rounded people. I wish I had known that there was no shame in going to a small school nobody had heard of.


I wish I would have been taught how to be mentally prepared to handle to stress of being a full time athlete and full time student.


I wish someone had told me to find an internship the summer after my freshman year. Internships are really important for your resume and post-college opportunities, and I feel that I didn't know that my freshman year.


I wish I had known that Juniata College provides a very weak student activity life outside of academics and that clubs are not as demanding as I assumed.


That my student loan bills would be pretty high, but if you've saved or receive a lot of financial aid, you will be fine.


Nothing, everything was clearly presented beforehand.


What it meant to live in a rural community in central PA. It was truly a study abroad experience for me coming from WAshington DC.
