They are all very helpful and will go beyond measures to help students

Dee

I've had some really great professors who aren't afraid to share their experience with students. This gives us a realistic idea of what we're getting into once we graduate.

Stephanie

Every professor I have had has been extremely helpful and very responsive to any questions I may have.

Lisa

Kaplan University Professors are very nice. They love teaching and are only an e-mail away to answer to your latest question. Professors have great response time for e-mails. They also hold regular office hours on AIM.

Beverly

The professors that I have for the course are very fair, strick, and tough but that is what I like about the Professors in order to get the learning that we need, they care about our learning and ability to learn.

Katherine

I have only had one professor that I didnt like. All of the others have been amazing and interesting people! I love who Kaplan has chose to teach us!!

Allie

My professors have all been great! I have loved all of my classes!

Shana

They are professors just like at any other school. The only difference is that I have never met them in person. Many of the professors I have had are willing to give out their personal phone numbers so that you can contact them with any personal problems and/or questions that you may have about the course content. All of the professors I have had have been flexible on assignment deadlines. They understand that you have a life outside of the online schooling. A large portion of the Kaplan Online students have jobs as well as families that they look after on a daily basis, and the Kaplan University Online professors understand this! They are willing to work with you as long as you ask them for their help.

Since the course is online, it is more flexible for the professor. All of my professors worked other jobs, whether it be research or clinical. This gave them the perspective of what the student's future career might be. It helped to get real life examples, so we know what to expect when we start our careers. Most of the professors are very helpful and easy to reach. Just as with any school, there are a few teachers that I did not like. The problem with graduate courses is that there are not many teachers to choose from because at most the class was offered by two different professors. So sometimes you just have to learn what the teachers are looking for in your work, and adapt your work to fit their guidelines. This is a helpful lesson, because you are not always going to like your bosses, but it is important to be resectful and complete the work how your boss wants it.

My professors thus far have been some of the best and most understanding people I have met in a long time. They are very wiliing to work within the limitation my cerebral palsy. Most of Kaplan's professors are actually students as well, continuing the education at the graduate level obtaining their Master's or Doctorite's. So, these professors know what they are doing. They are business owner's, Accountants, Forensic Accountants; their knowledge is vast, which is great if you ever have questions. You would think that in an online setting, reaching your professors would be near impossible. At Kaplan, that is not the case. You are able to get into contact with your professors via email, virtual office, and they even hold office hours where you can contact them on AIM. Most professors will find a way to make sure your questions are answered, whether it be email, AIM, virtual office, or even a phone call.

All of the professors I have had so far are highly educated professionals. Some of them are police detectives and I have also had a few professors with doctorates in criminal justice. They are polite and caring, they want to see you succeed and are available anytime you have a question or concern. They make learning easy here at Kaplan.

All of our professors work or have worked in their respective fields. They are able to give you insights into the real world of what they do and I've not met one who wasn't an expert in their field. To me, this gives more insight for you and takes away any myths or misconceptions that you may have about a field. This helps you to make an informed decision on career choices.

Just like any campus, the professors vary. There are some professors who are extremely into their students, and then there are those who just collect a paycheck. Mostly, I have had those that are extremely attentive. As I've mentioned in another review, I once spoke with a professor over AOL IM at 10:30 at night. She was thrilled to help me and couldn't be any nicer. Some professors also offer their phone numbers for you to call if you are having trouble (with strict time restrictions, of course).

Kayla

All professors at KU have real world experience which they are able to share in the classroom. They each take the time to work with any student who reaches out to them, many of them cutting time out of their own lives to ensure each student gets the help the need and deserve.

Sara

The professors have always been there to help you whether it's help with navigating the classroom online or with classwork. They are very clear with instructions and are always eager to answer any questions you may have.

Brandon

All KU professors have real world experience, though some make you wonder how they got the job's they had. They bring their worldly experiences into the classroom (the ones that have real world experience). Those that are students themselves; there are a few that are working on their Master's Degree's for higher learning; bring to you their experiences and understandings of what being an adult learner is and the hardships you have to learn to overcome.
