What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The worst thing about my school would probably be it's location. For the growing amount of students that are coming here each year, there seems to be a lot less space than is needed. The fact that King's is located right in the middle of the town of Wilkes-Barre accounts for it's inabilitiy to grow physically. While King's is conducting a numerous amount of projects including a new apartment complex and a new work-out center, unless property off-campus is purchased, there is no way King's will be able to continue to grow.

The only really bad thing about King's College is the lack of parking and the cost of parking! As a commuter, I found it exremely difficult to find a place to park in the early morning hours of classes when everyone wants to get there and park in one lot. Our lots are also a distance away from the center of campus, so it's a little bit of a walk when your backpack weighs half as much as you! I pay a lot of money to go to school, I shouldn't have to pay for parking!

Since classes are small, along with the campus, it is easy to develop a routine that does not vary too often. Classes are still challenging yet it is easy to get bored at such a small college. However, I have learned to benefit from this because the lack of distractions keep me more focused on my studies. Students who attend this King's college must be willing to be active in school/area functions because there is not much to do unless you are self driven.

The worst thing about my school was the amount of cliques that existed there and the fact that most students went to high school together. In addition, the small size of the school presented limited extracurricular activity opportunities including sport clubs and intramurals. The surrounding area was also pretty limited with activities for students, so house parties were a regular thing which I did not attend due to my disinterest in them.

Theworst thing about my college is noone from my high-school is going there or anyone I know personally. This is the worst because now not only do I have to go through the huge and hard changes from a high-school student to a college student but now I need to go through the awkard and troublesome task of meeting and making new friends. Both are hard enough on themselves but put together adds to the difficulty. Also college is expensive.

The worst part of my school would have to be the party scene because it hinders performance. When the weekend starts on a Thursday night and drunken people are walking by the dormatories at all hours of the night yelling and screaming it tends to make it difficult to fall asleep. For a catholic college the behavior of people does not seem to fit the outlook of the school and in turn reflects badly upon the college.

King's is located near a somewhat dangerous neighborhood. Although the city and school are starting to clean things up and the danger level should change because of this. The only thing to do on weekends seems like partying, so if you don't party, you may be at a loss for things to do sometimes.

The worst part of King's College is the surronding area. The area around the school is not the safest for students to walk around at night. The town has improved on trying to make the area a nicer place to live in and i feel over the next couple of years the area will become a nice place to live.

I think the worst thing about the school is the lack of parking ot be totally honest. There are parking lots for students but student's must pay everytime they enter the lot. Although the charge is only a dollar, spare change adds up to a decent amount come the end of the year.

The worst thing about my school is that it only has 1 fraternity and 1 sorority, so greek life is bascially non-existent. I wish that there were more greek like because I absolutely would have loved to join a sorority.
