Michigan State University Top Questions

I always talk about the wide variety of majors and specializations that are offered at Michigan State University. Being a Retailing major, I understand how hard it is to find a school that you like but that also offers your choice of degree. In MSU, I have fortunately found both for myself.

My field of study is in a residential college, James Madison College, and that really allows me to get the experience of a large university, as well as having the close-knit friends that come with a small college.

Especially in my part of campus, we are very open-minded and accepting. There are so many different lifestyles and opinions and personalities apparent and everyone just meshes nicely.

I love the friends I have made while I have been here!

The size of the campus and the concerts and the singers that come to MSU.

I used to brag about school when i was a freshman and I would talk about parties and people and facilities but now at my age I dont usually boast about school that much. They have a great campus and many people to meet.

How much monetary gifts we get to construct buildings.

I brag about living in the dorms where I have a sense of self. Almost as if I owned where I lived on campus, and being away from my parents. Also the women that attend my college.

We throw the best parties

That we have a campus in Dubai, we have the most recognized mascot in the world, great athletics, awesome Greek Life, tons of opportunities to get involved and that the faculty and staff care about helping you out.

I tell everybody about where I work. I'm a writer at the State News and we cover EVERYTHING on campus and a lot of things across the country. We had students at the Democratic and Republican National Conventions this year as well as President-elect Barack Obama's acceptance speech in Grant Park on Election Day. We get top internships and we basically give the J-school it's good reputation (so I've been told).

Michigan State is really fun and you get a great eduacation!

This year probably our football team, Dantonio is a god here. Other than that probably the fun club activities that I am a part of. The Fisheries and Wildlife club organizes activities to give students field experience and give back to the community.

It is a lot of fun, all the people are very friendly. There is a lot of stuff to do. Basketball and football games are very fun. There is never a lack of things to do, you will never be bored.

When I tell my friends about Michigan State University, it's not about the academics or the social life, it is about how gorgeous the campus is. The endless trees and the Red Cedar River running through campus just make it so amazing to walk through.

The local town and the amount of activities going on each weekend, as well as their football team.

The things I brag about most when I tell my friends about my school is, that our campus is so large with many different people, that our sports programs are very successful, and that the people here are so nice and helpful.

I tell them that my school has one of the best Education programs in the state.

How fun and how much I'm learning

Well recognized Business school, beautiful campus, amazing athletic facilities and academic support.

I definitely brag most about the social scene. At our school, you never have to worry about being bored or lonely. There is always someone who wants to hang out or party. At our school, you are always kept busy, which helps teach time management.

I brag about the parties and events the fraternities/sororities plan. I brag about living in the resident halls and the diffrent events the resident hall monitors put together. I brag about how big the university, and it being so big so much is always going onall the time. I brag about how diverse the school is and how many people from all over the world attend this university. I brag about even though the school is fun, academics is very important and all it takes is one slip up and you can get kicked out.

The fact that were pretty much the best, we win the most sports, have the hottest girls, the biggest parties and the most fun.

MSU IS SO MUCH FUN

I love to brag about my campus and how fun it seems to be. There is always something to do at any point in the day or night whatever day of the week it is. I feel like my campus is very into making students feel at home, and want them to be avaliable to any and all activities that one would have taken part in at home, also allowing students to broden there horizons and enjoy new activities as well.

Everyone is very friendly, there is always something to do, the staff is helpful, and the campus is beautiful.
