MSU is a huge campus and it is easy to get lost. MSU students are generally really friendly and helpful.

I think some of the stereotypes is that we are all just party animals and maybe have it easier than other schools, such as our rival, U of M.

--Because of the "riots" there is a rumor that we are dangerous or drink out of control..which is occasionally true lol, but not how some people viewed it on the news. --I dont really know anymore

MSU students are well rounded individuals. Spartans can hit the books but know how to party as well. Some say the school is too much of a party school, some say not enough. I thought it was a perfect fit.

Some stereotypes would be that its hard to adjust to dorm life, that dorm life is restrictive, that the professors dont care once they reach the 10 year mark, the foods awful, and life is easier with a fabulous roommate.

They like to part alot. Bad at football, good at basketball and hockey though.

The professors arent very accomodating and the students keep to themselves all the time. The adjustment is too hard.

MSU puts an emphasis on business, journalism, and engineering degrees. It is less concerned about intellectual undertakings and the such. The student body is heartily filled with drunkards and party kids.

It is well known that MSU is thought of as a party school. MSU is also known to have a diverse range of offered degrees, and one of the most beautiful campuses.

MSU is so huge (over 45,000 students) that students feel lost or not cared about.
