It's a women's college that has a very encouraging and empowering environment. Students there are really pushed to be leaders and to take advantage of opportunities for their career and their life; to not let being a woman make them feel like they should settle. The small enviromnent is also great because everyone knows everyone and the professors really care about the students.
Midway is an all girls' school. Therefore, I have had a unique opportunity to learn in a homogenous group. In this setting some subjects which would generally be considered taboo in a bigger and heterogenous setting, have been openly discussed and analyzed. Women, here are encouraged to become leaders and they are provided with the proper social tools needed for doing so.
Midway has an incredibly friendly atmosphere and is just the right size. Any student can recieve help from a professor at any time.
This college is small with smaller classes and campus is also small.
Small town feel. Accelerated program. Flexable schedule.
