NJIT has plenty of ups and downs about it, but it is quality education for pretty reasonable prices. We are located fairly close to the city, and in a good location generally for getting to and from by public transportation. We are not necessarily in the bad part of Newark, infact the Ironbound district, which has all the best places to go eat and visit, is very close. However, do take care late at night when walking around alone. Its not common, but there are some cases of crime on campus, though they are usually resolved within the week of happening. Overall though, for any of the majors available, you can get a solid degree from here with some top notch education that is available.
