What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Jason

The first and most important piece of advice I would offer to my former self would be to avoid locking yourself into a single school too early. Apply to many different schools and scholarship programs, for the more options you have, the more likely you are to find the perfect match to the experience you are looking for. Secondly, I would recommend that that my historical self does not go to college unless they are ready to put forth the amount of work required to succeed at the collegiate level. Finally, I would recommend that he does not slack off senior year. The transition from secondary school to post-secondary education is a challenging one, and college preparation classes can be beneficial. The more effort put forth in high school will do nothing but facilitate the transition, making the first semester of college more enjoyable. Thank you for your time and consideration.
