Newman University Top Questions

My advisor whould be the best thing about my school. I have never had anyone set me down and be willing to listen to all of my concerns and answer all of my questions. She knew how to best work my transfer credits to make the maximum impact in my future degree. She doesn't want me to just take any class to fill a spot, she wants me to take the best classes to benefit me and to fit my style of learning and the area of where I want to focus within the Communications field. I owe her!

The best thing about this school is the care that everyone seems to have. Everyone is always friendly. I love being able to walk to class and know most people by name. Everyone wants to work towards a greater good. We are huge on service for others. We are always doing charity events, volunteering, and coming together for a good cause. We have a huge fundraiser this weekend for Haiti. People are always willing to go the extra mile to help out others in need.

The best thing about my school is the small class sizes and teacher/advisor availability.

The best thing about Newman is that it's small campus so it limits the amount of trouble one can get into. The class sizes are smaller so students aren't a student identification, the professors know you by name. It seems like professors are more invested in the students since you are able to develop a more personal relationship.

I enjoyed the community. I made a great number of friends that I know I will continue to speak to for the rest of my life. The location is also great. It is in a large town so there is a lot to do, but it is not so large that it is overwhelming.
