NCSU is viewed as the redneck school.

I think the biggest stereotype about NC State and the students is that we hate UNC. Just because they are our biggest riveals does not mean we necessarily hate them. I plan on attended the school later but right now i am at ncsu.

NCSU is known for its Agriculture, Veterinary, and Engineering. The typical NCSU student is southern.

That they are all agriculture students.

Many people think that NCSU students are a bunch of rednecks who chew dip and drive big trucks.

I don't know much about NCSU stereotypes. We may be stereotyped as rednecks because of our very prominent agricultural science department and the Campus Crusade organization.
