Occassionally, you can ask 2 advisors the same question and get 2 different answers. Eventually, students just have to wait for e-mails from the department to confirm that a class in the curriculum was changed.

The worst thing that I have encountered at Owens is since the college has two campus's there are times that I have to travel to the other campus in order to take the courses that I need. It's not the worst thing for me since I live between the two however, those that live aa distance from one campus or the other has a great deal of traveling to do in order to take the courses that they need to graduate.

I believe that the worst thing about Owens is walking around in the cold from building to building.

The people here lack basic skills in math and English; therefore, most classes progress at a lagging pace.

The worst thing about my school is that it does not offer the same courses at both campuses. My school has two campuses, which is great, but for my major I have to commute to the campus that is 45 minutes from where I live instead of the campus that is 10 minutes from where I live.

The worst thing about my school is the attitude of many of the students. Too many students show no respect for the instructors. They send text messages, play video games, or talk to each other while the instructor is teaching. They show up late for class, sleep in class, and sometimes refuse to do things the instructor asks them to do. It appears these students were given no discipline while growing up or were never taught how to respect others. The behavior of these students is very discouraging.
