The thing I brag the most about my school is the class sizes. Attending a small college gives you many more oppurtunities to have academic gain. The class have usually no more than 30 students which is excellentAlso, the teachers always post office hours and give us their email if we have any question or concerns. I really love that about my school.
Students at Philander are not just a number. The professers actually engage in their students lives. Professers encourage students to come by their offices to ask for help, or to get clarification on an assignment etc.
When I tell my friends about the college that I am attending I brag about how it is so very family oriented and how the professors are hands on. Your professors should become your best friends. They are usually always available through e-mail or by phone. Use your resources, make connections, and don't be afraid to step out of your shell and make a difference on or off campus. Philander encourages it students to excel not only in their school work but also through out the community and beyond.
I'd tell students to come to this college because it is diverse.
