The best and worst parts of the social scene at Rhode Island College

Since RIC is primarily a commuter school, the worst part of the social scene is seeing people sitting in their cars while they wait for a class or during their break. It seems like no matter when or where you park, you will see people just hanging out in their cars. The good thing is that this school has a lot of students,so there are still many who are in the cafe, library, student union, etc. No matter where you go, you will see other students there. The best part of the social scene is the activities that RIC has every week. There is a free period every Wednesday at 1230-2pm during which no students have classes and activities are held. There are also activities on different days during the week, usually at night after classes are done.
