Describe the students at Soka University of America.

The pool of students is so random. Literally everyone can find happiness here, because everybody respect each other.

My classmates are friendly, outgoing people who are generally pretty close to one another.

I think our campus is pretty diverse. Yes, in the first few classes majority of students were Japanese but now SUA has been trying to reach out to local high schools to attract a larger diversity of students. Starting this year or last, students whose families earn below $60,000 are given free tuition, which is really awesome because it is a wonderful opportinity for students from different backgrounds to attend SUA regardless of income. In addition, about 93{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of students here receive some form of financial aid.

BUT in due time they realise that CANT work at SUA. 5) you make friends for life, and if you are lucky you wont run into pretentious posers. 6) We are socially aware of what all is going on in the world. 7) we are goal driven, so we try and help out as much as we can. 8) its very interpersonal. 9) there are some older students (25+) but, some of them don't realise the level of wisdom and maturity they should be having.

Many Soka students are religious. Our students are predominantly SGI, but there are other sectors of Buddhists, Daoists, Muslims, Christians and Jews. I think we have a diverse religious population and that makes me happy. On the weekends, many of us go to religious activities, so those who don't practice a religion could feel a little lonely on the weekends. 80{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of Soka students receive some kind of financial aid. Soka recently offered a new scholarship called S.O.S (if your parents earn less than $60,000 you get free tuition) Because there are so many students from overseas (most from Japan), Soka is friendly to the international students.
