Tacoma Community College Top Questions

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

Alex

Tacoma Community College is the best way to start earning a bachelor's degree. The classes that are offered there are the same as what a university would offer but for half the price. This relives a little bit of the financial burden and helps students concentrate on school instead about the money that they are spending.

When I tell my friends about Tacoma Community College, I always brag most about the quality of education this community college offers. The class sizes are small; usually 20 to 40 students, and both the teachers and advisors actually care about helping students achieve their academic goals.

When boasting about Tacoma Community College to my friends I call TCC "The University of Tacoma - the best priced University in the state." Since TCC is a community college, tuition is very reasonable, however, the professors and the degrees offered are better than many Universities in the state.

I brag about the access to computers. Nowhere I have been have I been able to get onto a computer without having to wait. If it is full in one part of the campus just go to another. The school is also fully wifi enabled, I have never had a problem using the internet in any of my classes to keep up with the teachers.

I can honestly say that I don't feel lost in the crowd or swallowed up by the campus or its faculty and staff.

The flexibility and options offered for payment. This makes it easier for students to still obtain a quality education even if financial aid is not available. The teachers are extremely helpful and attentive, and if you have a difficult time learning a certain topic there is help offered all around campus, whether it is from your teacher themselves or a personal tutor.
