The fantastic block system

Well it's community college and therefore considerably cheaper than a traditional 4 year college. I plan to take all my basics that each major requires and then transfer on to a university, but in the mean time I've saved quite a bit of money.

The University of Montana-Western, follows a unique block schedule called "Experience One." In this system students attend one class at a time(compared to traditional colleges where students are enrolled in several classes at the same time.) Every semester there are four blocks or four different classes; each is 18 days in length. At the end of each block the student takes the final and therefore earns the credits if passed. Then begins a new block or class. This system allows me to focus on one single subject and therefore better understand it.

The Universtiy of Montana Western is unique in that the school is focused on the students and quality of learning. All the classes are small which gives the professor the chance to help out every student individually. The school also offers many different feilds of learning for being such a small school.
