The Student Union at Arizona is one of the largest in the nation. It is a huge building, and has a bunch of amenities to help students living on campus other than food. Students can purchase a meal plan all four years (although it's usually a freshman thing living in the dorms) on your CatCard (student ID), which works at restaurants on campus. There' s a salad place called Core, Panda Express, IQ fresh for smoothies and wraps, Einstein's, Pinkberry, Papa John's, a deli, a breakfast place, and a bunch of little university-made lunch spots. University Ave has Chipotle, Jimmy John's, Which Wich, La Salsa, Starbucks and other restaurants. There are some cool restaurants off campus like Cheba Hut, Zachary's pizza, but there is a lot to eat on campus if you don't mind walking around. The Union has an all you can eat place called Redington's (amazing) and a gourmet place called the Mesa Room that people seem to like.

There are so many unique places to eat in Tucson. The campus itself if pretty standard. The union operates more like a food court than a cafeteria or dining hall. The food off of campus is delicious though. There are some great mexican restaurants and 4th ave has tons of pubs, bars, and whole in the wall restaurants that are within walking distance.

Campus cuisine is one of the single most important, yet often least visited, concerns when choosing which university to dedicate your intellect (and your stomach). Fresh from the UA: An Investigative Report into Campus Eateries. (with special thanks to Weird Al Yankovic)
